Job Title: Data Entry Specialist Department: Information Technology Reports To: IT Manager Summary: The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for entering data into computer systems and databases. This includes collecting, scanning, and digitizing data from a variety of sources, such as paper documents, spreadsheets, and images. The Data Entry Specialist must be accurate and efficient, and must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Enter data into computer systems and databases Collect, scan, and digitize data from a variety of sources Maintain detailed and organized records of data entries Verify the accuracy of data entries Resolve data entry errors Work independently and as part of a team Meet deadlines Follow all company policies and procedures Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of experience in data entry Excellent typing skills (minimum 60 wpm) Attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
